Description

Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too Preliminary Roughs and Storyboard Drawings Original Art by Ted Berman Group of 266 (Walt Disney, 1974). "Well, Tigger, your bouncing really got you into trouble this time!" Winnie the Pooh's bouncing bundle of energy, the irrepressible Tigger is showcased in this, Disney's third animated featurette from the world of author A. A. Milne's 100 Acre Wood. From this film comes this astounding collection of original concepts, rough preliminaries, and storyboard drawings from the hand of longtime Disney story man Ted Berman (1919 - 2001), from his personal archives. These original drawings of Tigger interacting with Roo and Owl have the rambunctious Tigger proving that he can climb (well, bounce) up a tree, only to get very high up and become frightened. The art is in combinations of ink, artist's markers, and graphite on paper, most measuring 6" x 4.5", with a few a bit larger. These sketches played an important part in the development of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too, and are rarely seen outside the studio. Overall condition is Good, with handling wear and some creases, slight stains, and edge wear; some are with tack holes, and one larger drawing on 8" x 6" paper has a 2" tear.
From the Legendary Disney Storyboard Artist Ted Berman Archive.
