Description
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Tigger Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1977). "I'm Tigger! T, I, double 'guh,' err." The one and only Tigger takes center stage in this lot with an absolutely fantastic hand-painted production cel from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, displaying a prime image of the fan-favorite inhabitant of the Hundred Acre Wood. This film anthology included three previously released shorts tied together with new animation of the Silly Old Bear, premiering on March 11, 1977. The 16-field cel in this lot was used to create what we see on screen at the 49:51 mark of the movie, showing Tigger introducing himself after one of his characteristic landings, numbered R49 in the bottom right corner, and showing our beloved character measuring 5.5" x 7". A Walt Disney Production stamp can be seen on the bottom right corner, and a COA accompanies the lot. This lot is displayed on a printed background for presentation purposes. Overall, the lot exhibits minor handling and edge wear from production, with a very small piece missing from the top right corner, located away from the artwork. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
