Description

Walt Disney Presents "From All of Us to All of You" RARE Bambi Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1958). "Ice frolics, with Bambi!" The adorable little Bambi looks ecstatic in this hand-inked cel as he stands full figure in a field of snow waiting for Thumper to give him advice on how to skate on ice. This hand-painted cel was used for the episode titled "From All of Us to All of You" from the anthology television series Walt Disney Presents, which debuted as Walt Disney's Disneyland and continues today as The Magical World of Disney. The episode aired over 65 years ago on ABC on 12/19/1958 and sees Jiminy Cricket hosting a clip show with Disney cartoons that loosely relate to Christmas in an edited version for television presentation. Walt Disney (1901 - 1966) was the first major film producer to venture into television because he wanted to finance the development of the Disneyland amusement park. The show itself contained teasers for the park while other episodes described life in one of the park's main sections: Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, and Frontierland. This great, multilayer cel image can be seen between the 22:51-23:04 timestamp of the episode at the beginning of a new segment within the episode as Bambi is surrounded by the word "Noel". The 16 field cel image of Bambi measure at 4" x 6" and is displayed over a print background for presentation purposes. The production code 5838 is inked along bottom border along with the sequence number 3 and the scene number 19. The overall condition is Good to Very Good with residue/surface wear on top cel layer, and minor handling wear and edge wear.
