The Jungle Book Baloo "Bare Necessities" Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1967). "Look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities" sings Baloo in this terrific production cel from Walt Disney's The Jungle Book. The song "The Bare Necessities" is not just one of the key moments of the film, but it is one of the most memorable songs from any of Disney's animated films. This rare cel depicts Baloo as he is actually speaking the words "Bare Necessities" within this memorable sequence, as seen at the 26:20 mark of the film. Both Baloo and the bunch of bananas he is holding are hand-painted on the cel layer. The large 16-field cel is displayed over a printed The Jungle Book background for a gorgeous display.
