Description

The Jungle Book Mowgli and Baloo Art Corner Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1967). "Look, now it's like this, Little Britches. All you gotta do is..." Baloo is preparing to tell Mowgli all about the bare necessities in this fabulous hand-painted production cel from The Jungle Book, originally offered at the famous Art Corner Store in Disneyland. Known for being the last animated feature that had Walt Disney personally involved, The Jungle Book premiered on October 18, 1967, to a great reception from the public. This stupendous image of the care-free duo shows Mowgli measuring 2" x 2.75", while Baloo shows a figure size of 5" x 5.75", appearing during different frames of the 25:17 timestamp, moments before Baloo starts singing the famous "Bare Necessities" song. The cel is shown on a printed background and offered on a 17" x 14.5" mat with an 11.25" x 8.75" opening, bearing the famous Art Corner gold sticker on the back. Mat is sold as-is. Showing mild handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.
