Description
The Ren and Stimpy Show "Stupid Sidekick Union" Stimpy on Strike Production Cel Scene on Master Background (Nickelodeon, 1995). When his union calls for a strike, Stimpy hands in his contract and walks the picket line, with a "Ren Stinks!" sign in hand! This wild original hand-painted 2-cel production scene is from Season 5, Episode 2, "Stupid Sidekick Union," which was first shown on 3/18/1995. It was a rare episode that had these best friends fighting, and it gave Stimpy the chance to expand his range a bit. The cel of Stimpy leaving with his sign has an approximate image size of 6.75" x 7", and found at the 13:47, while Ren grimacing while holding the contract comes two seconds later; it measures 4" x 4". The airbrushed "studio lot" background can be seen at the 16:37 mark. The setup is in Very Good condition with minor handling.Auction Info
