Peter Pan Peter Pan Color Model Cel (Walt Disney, 1953). The titular boy who wouldn't grow up from Disney's 1953 animated movie Peter Pan takes the spotlight in this lot with an exceptional hand-painted and hand-inked color model cel, featuring a gigantic image of the iconic character! Premiering on February 5, 1953, this film is based on the play by Scottish novelist and playwright J.M. Barrie (1860-1937), and was directed by Hamilton Luske, Clyde Geronimi, and Wilfred Jackson. This 16-field color model cel features an outstanding full-figure image of Peter Pan, measuring a monumental image size of 2.5" x 8.25" featuring the production code for the film, "2074," on the bottom edge. The lot is shown on a printed background for presentation purposes. With minor waviness and very light handling and edge wear from production, this wonderful lot is in Very Good condition.From the Ken O’Connor Archive.
