Space Jam Tune Squad Limited Edition Cel Signed by Michael Jordan #82/500 (Warner Brothers, 1996). The Tune Squad moves the ball up the court in this superb hand-painted limited edition cel, inspired by the hit film Space Jam, and signed by none other than Michael Jordan himself. Featured with the NBA legend are Daffy Duck, Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Lola Bunny, Sylvester, and the Tasmanian Devil. Space Jam was a highly successful box office smash in 1996. The film tells the story of how the Looney Tunes gang pulls Michael Jordan out of his retirement to help them win a basketball game and save them from slavery at an alien theme park. This incredible piece featuring the multi-faceted sports superstar was exclusively sold at the Warner Bros Studio Store in 1996, and has since been sold out for over 25 years! This rare 16 field hand-inked, hand-painted limited edition cel comes with a Warner Brothers seal and Certificate of Authenticity. Also, pay attention to the crowd, seen in the photo-print background -- it's filled with incidental characters from years of Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons... wow!
