Æon Flux Production Cel Signed by Peter Chung (MTV Animation, c. 1991-95). Espionage agent Æon Flux is presented here in this marvelous hand-painted original production cel signed by Æon Flux creator Peter Chung. Known for his distinct designs, the Korean American animator's influences include Japanese animation, German expressionism, and European comics, and he often cites expressionist painter Egon Schiele and comic artist Moebius as sources of inspiration for the thin and angular designs of his characters. This fantastic and dramatically foreshortened image of the titular Æon Flux perfectly exemplifies the work of Peter Chung. A must-have for fans of the cerebral MTV sci fi hit, this 12 field cel is numbered C35 in the upper right corner.
