Description
Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner Production Cels Group of 2 (Warner Brothers, c. 1960s). A two-headed Road Runner is seen by an astonished Wile E. Coyote in this rare pair of hand-inked, hand-painted production cels. These cels are from one of their 49 classic Looney Tunes shorts, most of which were directed by Animation Legend Chuck Jones. Each cel was meticulously trimmed to outline and mounted onto a new 12 field acetate sheet and placed on a print background; these prints were added for presentation purposes. Wile E. stands approximately 5.5", while "double-header" Road Runner is 4.25" tall (this may have been a "motion" cel, giving the impression of two heads as the bird begins to move). Very cool - this is one group of production cels unlike any other! The overall condition is Very Good to Fine with light handling.Auction Info
