Description

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Dopey Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney, 1937). "Ho-hum, the tune is dumb, the words don't mean a thing! Isn't this a silly song for anyone to sing?" Dopey dances and plays the cymbal in this lively hand-inked and hand-painted original production cel from Disney's very first animated feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Seen at the 53:41 mark of the film, this is a picture-perfect image of the lovable beardless dwarf, displayed on a wood veneer background prepared by the Courvoisier Galleries. This cel is displayed in a 14" x 16.5" glass frame with a window size of 7.5" x 8.25". All frames are sold as-is. Photos are not representative of actual frame condition. The cel has been trimmed to fit the frame, and it shows minor studio handling with light age-related wrinkling. Original cels from the 1937 classic Snow White are exceptionally hard to find! Remarkably well preserved, the condition of this rare treasure is Good.
