The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie Bugs Bunny Production Cel Signed by Chuck Jones (Warner Brothers, 1979). "This show you're going to see now is about what just one of those fathers did with me and my cartoon associates. An animation director who goes by the unlikely name of Chuck Jones." The Chuck Jones-directed animated package film The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie featured new animated bridging sequences starring Bugs Bunny. The bridging sequences, which had been produced in 1978, show Bugs at his home, which is cantilevered over a carrot-juice waterfall modeled after Frank Lloyd Wright's "Fallingwater" house. The film was released to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Bugs Bunny. This hand-painted original production cel from the film features the one and only Bugs decked out in a cozy lounge robe, enjoying a nice carrot martini. An excellent image of the iconic cartoon legend! The piece is signed by Chuck Jones (credited in the film as "the slightly disarranged mind of Chuck Jones"), and it is framed under glass with a window size of 9" x 9" and an overall frame size of 15.25" x 15.25".
