Carl Barks "Nashville's Founding Feathers" Signed Concept Drawing (Walt Disney, c. 1970s). This is a fantastic concept sketch for Carl Barks' painting titled "Nashville's Founding Feathers", signed by the artist. Carl Barks (1901 - 2000) is a Disney Legend, celebrated for his creation of the beloved character Scrooge McDuck. He was famously one of the first inductees into the Eisner Awards Hall of Fame in 1987, honored for his decades of contributions to comics, known worldwide. This concept was created in part of Carl Barks' painting series "Famous Figures of History as They Might Have Looked Had Their Genes Gotten Mixed Up with Waterfowl." The drawing is rendered expertly in graphite on a sheet of 8.5" x 11" bond paper. A rare opportunity to own original signed artwork by the hand of the legendary Carl Barks. Overall minor handling and edge wear with slight age-related toning, and the condition is Very Good.
