Description

Dick Dillin and Tex Blaisdell World's Finest Comics #225 Story Page 16 Original Art (DC Comics, 1974). Two years before Hollywood delivered The Omen, Superman and Batman squared off against a hell-spawned demon-child in the story represented here. The sequence finds Superman capturing the little devil and finding its powers diminished -- none too soon. Bruce "Batman" Wayne seems unconvinced. Splendid work from Justice League illustrator Dillin and regular Superman inker Blaisdell. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 10" x 15". Excellent condition, barring marginal tape stains and a few intrusive blue-ink editing marks. From the Tex Blaisdell Archives.
