Disneyland Gallery Exclusive "Sleeping Beauty Cradle" SOLD-OUT Limited Edition Giclée Signed by Eyvind Earle #43/300 (Walt Disney, 1988). "A daughter was born, and they called her Aurora. Yes, they named her after the dawn, for she filled their lives with sunshine." The three good fairies cast their blessings on the newborn Princess Aurora in this highly sought-after limited edition giclée signed by Disney Legend inductee Eyvind Earle (1916 - 2000). This image, titled "Sleeping Beauty Cradle," was part of a series of six giclée titled Sleeping Beauty Castle Tableaus. The series was created from the original Eyvind Earle paintings that adorned the staircases of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland in 1957, telling the tale of Sleeping Beauty in a series of beautiful, painted tableaus. Sold exclusively at the Disney Gallery in 1999, this rare piece is numbered 43 of only 300 produced, and it has been long sold out for over 25 years. An extremely limited run, highly coveted by collectors! In addition, this giclée bears a debossed Disney Gallery seal in the lower left corner. Measuring a large 24" x 19", the piece is matted to 30.5" x 26" and exhibits minimal handling. A Disney COA is on the back of the matboard. Condition is Very Good to Fine.
