The lovable, life-size Mickey Mouse stands poised to bring a touch of magic to a broom brigade, with this grand, Disney Store Catalog Exclusive Mickey Mouse "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" Big Figure! Known among collectors and fans as "Big Figs", Disney began producing these large resin figures in limited quantities in 1989, available exclusively through Disney retailers, catalogs, and Parks. Celebrating Walt Disney's Fantasia, this two-piece set features a hand-painted resin sculpt of Mickey Mouse, wearing his classic red robe, and is accompanied by a removeable accessory - Yen Sid's iconic, magical hat. This Disney Store Big Figure was issued as a Disney Store Catalog Exclusive "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" along with its companion "Broom" Disney Big Figure, each life-size piece produced in a limited edition of 500, which swiftly sold out. This magnificent Disney Big Figure is presently one of the most sought after and obscure treasures, complete with the rarely retained hat accessory. The Sorcerer's Apprentice is an outstanding, collectible conversation piece, standing 48" tall, weighing more than 90lbs. and is in Very Good condition, exhibiting minimal scuffs and wear.
