Description
The Simpsons "Rosebud" Mr. Burns Production Cel Setup (Fox, 1993). Arguably one of the greatest surprise endings in Simpsons history, Mr. Burns goes from playing in a parody of Citizen Kane to a futuristic robot in a spoof of Planet of the Apes. Offered in this lot is an absolutely fabulous hand-painted production cel setup from the 21:44 mark in the ending sequence of this cinematic mash-up. Both Robo-Burns and the Ape-man are in full-figure and measure 7" x 6" on a 12 field 3-cel setup over a matching print background. It bears a Fox seal in the lower right and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. This is easily one of the funniest ending scenes in Simpsons history and a must-have for any Mr. Burns fan. It is in an 18" x 14" mat with an 11" x 9" window and comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity. . Minor handing and condition is Fine.More information about 20th Century Fox Artist.
