Description
The Simpsons Lisa Production Cel with Production Background (Fox, 1990). This lot is all about the smartest of the Simpsons, little Lisa. Intelligent, kind and passionate about the planet and all living things, she has served as the conscience of her dysfunctional family ever since this hit show began in 1989. She is one of a select few of animated characters to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2000. Offered in this lot is an original hand-painted production cel of Lisa form season1 of the Simpsons. The nicely centered image of a smiling Lisa measures approximately 3" x 4.5". The cel is over a production background cel of the character's bedroom which showcases an "End Apartheid Now" poster. Both cels have been trimmed along the bottom and measure 12.5" x 10". This one-of-a-kind setup from the longest running show in the history of television is matted to 16" x 12" with a matboard aperture of 11" x 7".
