Charlie Brown's All Stars! Snoopy Production Cel with Key Master Background (Bill Melendez, 1966). "SURF'S UP! SURF'S UP!" proclaims Linus in the second Charlie Brown TV special, Charlie Brown's All Stars! The special originally aired on 6/8/66 on CBS. In this classic special, we see Snoopy with his hands on his hips riding the waves. This is a rare hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field production cel setup on its hand-painted/mixed media Key Master production background. It is important to note that this Snoopy Surfing scene was later used in Snoopy Come Home, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, and Snoopy's Reunion. WOW! Snoopy is 2" while his surfboard is 4.5". The wave is mixed media with hand-painted elements and hand-cut color-card. Key Master hand-inked setups from these early Charlie Brown specials are arguably very rare. Fine condition.Auction Info
