Beauty and the Beast Belle and the Beast Children's Storybook Illustration by John Kurtz Original Art (Walt Disney, c. 1990s). Belle and Beast trip the light fantastic, in this charming book illustration by John Kurtz. John illustrated quite a few books for Disney, as well as drawing oodles of Muppets for Sesame Street Magazine and lots of similar art like this for other companies, all of it simply wonderful. The fearsome Beast's gentle nature comes out for sweet Belle as he takes her delicate hand in his furry paw, in this superb color pencils and graphite illustration. The art has an approximate image size of 14" x 8" on an 11" x 17" sheet of smooth-finish Bristol board. The drawing is hand-signed in the lower right (as Kurtz). This lovely illustration is in Very Good to Fine condition with light handling.From the Disney and Children's Book Illustrator John Kurtz Collection.
