Super Dimension Fortress Macross Hikaru Ichijyo Illustration by Narumi Kakinochi (Tatsunoko Production, 1983). The multi-talented illustrator Narumi Kakinochi has participated as animation director and character designer in many anime productions, and one of her most significant roles has been some of the original designs for the anime series Super Dimension Fortress Macross. The splendid illustration in this lot has the Macross protagonist Hikaru Ichijo resting peacefully, created by the illustrator Narumi Kakinochi. The stunning picture of the character measures a great image size of 7.75" x 7.25", crafted in ink and markers on a board measuring 10.5" x 7.5", signed by the artist in the bottom right corner of the picture. The illustration was featured on an anime magazine included in this lot. The illustration shows some very light fading on the ink, and minimal handling wear. The magazine shows minimal handling and edge wear. Overall, the lot is in Very Good condition.
