Description
Super Dimension Fortress Macross "Burst Point" Hikaru Ichijyo Production Cel (Tatsunoko Production, c. 1982-83). Presented in this lot is a fantastic image of the iconic pilot Hikaru Ichijyo from the emblematic mecha anime series Super Dimension Fortress Macross. The audacious Hikaru measures an outstanding image size of 9.25" x 8" on the hand-painted 12 field sized production cel, numbered A11 in the top right corner. A classic image of Hikaru wearing his pilot suit and helmet! This image can be seen at about the 17:52 mark of the episode "Burst Point." The animation drawing included in this lot has adhered to the back of the production cel. Overall, the lot shows light handling wear from production.
