Cowboy Bebop "The Real Folk Blues: Part 1" Vicious Production Cel Setup with Key Master Background (Sunrise, 1999). "Kill me. Just do it now." The diabolical Vicious challenges the Red Dragon council elders after he infiltrates their chamber, just to realize they knew beforehand of his attempt to overthrow the Van. Vicious' cold glare is at full display in this phenomenal lot that presents a magnificent hand-painted production cel setup of the relentless villain on the Key Master background of the suspenseful scene. This image of Spike's rival can be seen at the 3:48 of the second-to-last episode of the cult-classic anime series Cowboy Bebop "The Real Folk Blues: Part 1," just before he is taken into custody after his plan seemingly failed. Featured on a 12-field three-layer cel, Vicious measures an image size of 9.5" x 8", presented on the Key Master background of the Van's chamber, rendered in gouache on a 14" x 10" background board. The production cel shows fading on the background, faint surface scratches that don't affect the art, and slight warping. The Key Master background has pinholes on the four corners and minor wrinkling near the right edge and bottom right corner. Presenting light handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Very Good condition.
