Description
Promotional and Odd Sized Golden Age Group (Various Publishers, 1934-43). This unusual group of twelve small-sized comic and story books includes the following Mighty Midget comics: Bulletman #11 (GD+, covers detached and separated); Captain Marvel #11 (GD, covers detached and separated); Golden Arrow #11 (VG); Ibis the Invincible #11 (FN/VF, same cover as regular Ibis #1 which was released later); Lance O'Casey #12 (VG, tape pull on front cover; first comic devoted to this character); and Spy Smasher #11 (VG). Also included are two Fawcett Miniature comics: Captain Marvel and the Raiders from Space (VF+); and Captain Marvel Jr in the Case of the Poison Press (FN, taped tear on back cover). A 1936 Smitty and Herby softcover Big Little Book (VG, Tarzan Ice Cream promo) and fourWee Little Books (Mother Goose, Pied Piper of Hamlin, The Happy Prince, all VG/FN, and Robin Hood, VG-, some pages loose) round out the lot.
