Description

Disneyland - Jungle Cruise Temple Ruins Elephant Decoration Prop (Walt Disney, c. 1970s-1990s). "See those crocodiles over there? We have trained them to stay perfectly still so you can take better pictures." This is an incredible rare original prop section from the Rain Forest early section of the Jungle Cruise attraction at Disneyland. Within the sunken city, near the looming ancient shrine, and around the formidable crocodiles, are the ruins of several structures bearing this elephant pattern within the rockwork. This prop section was used within the attraction prior to a more recent refurbishment, and is composed of hand-painted and coated fiberglass and burlap. It is an incredible surviving artifact from the earlier years of this iconic Disneyland attraction. It measures 16" x 26" and 6" deep, and is in Fair condition with expected small cracks, chips, and wear throughout from its longtime attraction use and subsequent removal.
