Ye Olden Days Mickey Mouse Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1933). Two original production drawings from the 1933 Walt Disney short, Ye Olden Days. The short features Mickey and his friends putting on a musical set in Medieval times. Mickey plays a wandering minstrel who saves Princess Minnie from having to marry Dippy Dawg, the Prince of Poopoopadoo. The first drawing shows Mickey with his lute across his back looking up at Princess Minnie who is held captive high in the castle's tower. The second drawing is of the tower window which can be seen around the 5:25 time mark when the guards open the window to grab Mickey and Minnie as they escape. Both pieces were drawn in graphite on 12 field, 2-peghole animation paper. Light age-related toning. Overall condition is Very Good.Auction Info
