Description
The Mad Doctor Mickey Mouse and Pluto Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). "Pluto! Pluto! Pluto!" yells Mickey Mouse as he wakes up to realize his encounter with the Mad Doctor (aka Doctor XXX) was only a dream. Pluto jumps through Mickey's bedroom window with his doghouse chained to him for the big reunion. This is a rare 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing of the film's finale. You can see this at about the 6:42 mark into the short. This "dark" cartoon was directed by David Hand and released on 1/20/33. Art is in detailed graphite with red pencil highlights. Nice images of BOTH Mickey with his dog Pluto, with approximate sizes of 4". Classic mouse and his dog! Minor handling and edge wear.
