Gus Edson The Gumps Partial Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 4-20-41 (Chicago Tribune, 1941). Edson inherited The Gumps in 1935 following the death of creator Sidney Smith and carried on over the long term. This partial installment was created in ink over graphite with an image area of 19" x 11". Marginal soiling and toning, pinholes, and toning. In Very Good condition.Auction Info
