Camping Out Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1934) CGC-certified as Genuine. Mickey, Minnie, and the gang run into a swarm of trouble when mosquitos ruin their outdoor fun, in this short directed by Wilfred Jackson. It was first shown in theaters on 2/17/1934. In this original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing, an obviously distressed Minnie points to the invading "skeeter" army heading their way. While we can find similar scenes with Minnie and her banjo, and Mickey with his harmonica in the cartoon, it appears this particular drawing was not used, which is a pity; it's rare to see Minnie in such a fraught state. The art is in graphite, with a combined image area measuring approximately 6.5" x 3.75". The lower right corner notation is 28A. This piece has been certified as a genuine by CGC, which does not assign grades to animation drawings. Very minor handling and edge wear, with mild paper toning along the right edge.
