Description

Two-Gun Mickey Pair of Vintage Animation Drawings (Walt Disney, 1934).
Cowgirl Minnie makes a substantial withdrawal from the bank, in Two-Gun Mickey, and leaves with a large sack of money. Peg Leg Pete sees her and gathers his band of desperados to chase her down, hoping to take the sack of money from her. Cowboy Mickey, who was told by Minnie, "On your way, cowboy: I can take care of myself!" sees the chase unfolding from his high perch, and rides down to save her anyway. When he gets into fisticuffs with Pete, the outlaw pulls a knife on our hero and the two tumble off the side of a cliff. You will find these images starting around the 8:29 mark in Walt Disney's 1934 short subject film, Two-Gun Mickey. The picture was directed by Ben Sharpsteen and released to theaters on 12/15/34. The drawings were rendered in graphite on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper. These are actual working production pieces with very light paper toning and minor handling. Condition is Very Good.
