Original production cel from The Fox and the hound. Original production cel from The Fox and the hound. (Walt Disney Studios, 1981) Original production cel featuring "Todd"and "Widow Tweed" from Walt Disney's The Fox and the Hound. Originally slated for a Christmas 1980 release, The Fox and the Hound was delayed when animator Don Bluth and eleven others left Disney to form their own studio. At the time of release, The Fox and the Hound , the 24th Disney animated feature, was the studios most expensive to date with a budget of 12 million dollars. The untrimmed animation cels measure 12.5 x 16 in. and have been placed on a color copy background. Studio seal in the lower right corner as prepared by the studio for sale. Image size of the characters is 8.5 x 5 in. Overall condition is fine with all paint intact.Auction Info
