Swabbies Unreleased Mickey Mouse Production Drawings Group of 53 (Walt Disney, 1989). This is a very rare opportunity to acquire never-before-seen artwork from Walt Disney's Special Projects Unit. After production ended on Sport Goofy in Soccermania. A whole series of half hour animated featurettes were planned. This featurette was to be titled, Swabbies and would feature Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy as well as their counterparts, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck along with other classic Disney characters. Swabbies was going to be the second featurette before the project was abruptly scrapped even though the entire film had been storyboarded and recorded. From Swabbies we have a collection of 53 rough animation drawings and sketches. Each piece was rendered in graphite and colored pencil on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper. The artwork from this project is over 30 years old! This is actual working production art and thus will have minor handling, artist notes, slight discoloration0 due to aging, and normal edge wear; otherwise the artwork is in Very Good condition.
