Description
Marvel Homemade Bound Volumes - Avengers and Rampaging Hulk Group of 2 (Marvel, 1969-78). Includes Avengers #69-86 and Rampaging Hulk #1-9, bound into two homemade volumes. Includes the first appearances of the Squadron Sinister, Nighthawk, the Invaders, Zodiak, Arkon, the Lethal Legion, Red Wolf, the Liberators, and the Squadron Supreme. Comics have off-white to white pages and present around VG, with creasing, small tears, toning, and handling wear. Large pieces have been cut out of ad pages in issues #85 and 86, and do not affect story. Issues have been sewn into volumes and could potentially be unsewn to be made into raw copies or for re-binding.The volumes themselves are constructed with paper, construction paper, and cloth, sewn and glued together. Both volumes feature their respective titles and issues on the front covers with blank cloth spines. Tears, paper lifts, small stains, toning, and handling wear to volumes. Volumes in Very Good condition. Approximate Overstreet VG value for group = $475.
