Description
The Dognapper Mickey Mouse Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1934). Mickey and Donald are two police officers on the trail of Dognapper, Bad Pete. They are eventually able to corner Pete at a sawmill, but with comical results. An early, long-billed policeman Donald is featured along with Mickey Mouse in The Dognapper, released on 11/17/34 and directed by Ben Sharpsteen. Officers Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck are about to have a run-in with a wayward sawmill blade in this pair of drawings. The artwork was rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12 field, 2-peghole animation paper. This is a great pair of vintage Disney production artwork noted as numbers 125 and 20 in the bottom right of each piece. Mild age-related toning, pegholes have been repositioned on the sawmill blade drawing. Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
