José "Pepe" González Vampirella #25 Story Page 11 Original Art (Warren, 1973). This splendid page is from the story "What Price Love," and highlights Gonzales' emotive artwork and Bill DuBay's provocative writing. Vampi began as a cheesecake fantasy but gradually matured into an earnest study of mortality, loyalty, and self-sacrifice. Created in ink and ink wash over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.75" x 15". With light toning, edge wear and slight staining with tape, text paste-ups and glue residue, with some of the paste-ups discolored. In Very Good condition.More information about José "Pepe" González.
