Description
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #4 Complimentary Edition (Dell, 1941) CGC GD+ 2.5 Cream to off-white pages. The first Huey, Dewey, and Louie appearance in the title. Floyd Gottfredson art. "COMPLIMENTARY COPY NOT TO BE SOLD" printed on cover. This special edition was most likely sent out to Mickey Mouse Magazine subscribers whose subscription had expired. There are currently only five CGC-graded copies of this special edition, with the best grading at VG 4.0. Overstreet touts the book as being "very rare," with only five known copies existing. CGC notes, "Puzzles filled out on centerfold & last page." Here's your opportunity to pick up a copy of one of the rarest Disney comics in existence. Overstreet 2010 GD 2.0 value = $423.
