Description
Original production concept drawing from Pinocchio. Original production concept drawing from Pinocchio. (Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Early original concept drawing from what became the "Pleasure Island" sequence of Pinocchio. During production, the story, based on Carlos Collodi's "The Adventures Of Pinocchio" went through many changes. This early concept features "Pinocchio" and other boys enjoying popular drinks from the sap of bottle growing trees in what was originally conceived as "Boobyland". Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on trimmed 8 x 10 in. animation paper. Total image size is 7 x 9 in. Paper is in very good condition with edge wear throughout.Auction Info
