Original production drawing of "Pinocchio" underwater from Pinocchio. Original production drawing of "Pinocchio" underwater from Pinocchio. (Walt Disney Studios, 1940) Original production drawing featuring "Pinocchio" from Pinocchio. Intended to be Disney's third feature, Pinocchio was moved ahead in the schedule when the second feature, Bambi ran into difficulties. Released on Febuary 7th, 1940, Pinocchio won the Academy Award for Best Original Song and Best Original Song. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 10 x 12 in. animation paper. "Pinocchio's" image size is 3 x 4 in. Paper is in fine condition with some light wrinkling. Studio archive stamp in lower left corner.Auction Info
