Description
Michael Silver - Magazine Article Layout Illustration Original Art (c. 1950s). Although the title "Dust Off Your Old Cribs and Put Them To Work!" may sound comical, as does the artwork suggesting making party room furniture and decorations out of them; as it turns out this is kind of a thing. Google it. Wonderful retro-style illustrations (We love the prints on the sofas!) created in ink and graphite with mixed media colors. The black and white images are actual photos cut and pasted into the artwork. The entire two-page spread is covered with a plastic protective layer and then matted with an image area of 22" x 14". The 27" x 20" mat is chipped and broken on the edges/corners. The artwork is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
