Adventure Comics #85 (DC, 1943) CGC Apparent VF/NM 9.0 Slight (P) Off-white to white pages. A con with a cushy prison lifestyle gets a visit from the Sandman and Sandy here. The cover whets your appetite for the story, that's a Simon and Kirby specialty! S & K also drew the dreamland duo's story inside the comic, and Kirby moved from the drawing board to the typewriter to script the Manhunter backup feature (drawn by Pierce Rice).
