Mike DeCarlo Journey into Mystery #100 Thor vs. Mr. Hyde Cover Homage Original Art (2011). This tip of the Uru hammer to Jack Kirby's "Thor's Showdown with Mr. Hyde" cover captures the offbeat fun of the early Marvel Age of Heroes. This is not a line-for-line re-creation, which Mike DeCarlo feels is somewhat boring and misleading. Instead, Mr. DeCarlo has done a well-conceived tribute to Jack Kirby, with his updated inking approach. This awesome piece measures 11" x 16.25" overall, and is all hand-done. The piece is drawn in graphite and ink on Bristol, and it's in Excellent condition. Signed in its lower right margin.Lookup the Comic Book in our Guide
