"The Big Hit" Underdog Limited Edition Cel Artist's Proof #AP 30/35 (Total Television/Golden Books, 1992). Clumsy but well-meaning superhero Underdog appeared in 124 episodes of The Underdog Show. One of the opening segments featured Underdog subduing a giant stomping through the city. This colorful limited edition cel is based on that scenario. Artist Joe Harris (1928 - 2017), who created Underdog for sponsor General Mills, hand-signed this rare Artist's Proof, #30 in an edition size of only 35. The specially prepared background is a print, added for presentation purposes. Matted with an opening of 16" x 12.5", with an overall mat size of 22" x 18.5". Fine condition.Auction Info
