Description

Spider-Man Animation Drawing Sequence of 8 (Marvel/Grantray-Lawrence Animation, 1967). The animated series with the memorable theme song ("Spins a web, any size, catches thieves just like flies -- look out! Here comes the Spider-Man") was the source for this rare sequence of eight 12 field 3-peghole animation production drawings. This is the original first-season version of Spider-Man, with a six-legged spider design on his costume. Spidey is shooting webs in this sequence, numbered 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, and 26. Figure sizes range from 3.5" to 5". Art is in graphite and blue pencil; each sheet is hand-signed by Ray Patterson, producer of the first season. Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear.
