Leonard Starr Mary Perkins On Stage Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-16-68 (Chicago Tribune, 1968). Starr's masterful newspaper strip turns in a gripping sequence between Gemma and Renzo. A beautifully composed, suspenseful example of a strip that owes much of its style to Starr's long experience as a Golden Age/Silver Age comic-book artist -- with hitches at DC, Marvel, and many others.
