Warren Tufts Casey Ruggles Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 11-6-50 (United Feature Syndicate, 1950). Heroic Casey Ruggles cracks a case of land-theft terrorism by exposing the lovely Clare Cramer as the culprit -- a triumph and a loss at once for Ruggles, who had considered the woman a romantic interest. A particularly chilling image of the mastermind appears at left. Some fine woodgrain crosshatching in two panels. Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 18.5" x 5". Light toning and handling, otherwise in Excellent condition.
