Disney Consumer Products A Bugs Life Children's Book Illustrations Group of 6 (Disney/Pixar, c. 1990s). "An epic presentation of miniature proportions." Every year, a colony of ants is expected to harvest food for a biker-gang-like bunch of greedy grasshoppers in Disney's A Bugs Life. However, there was one ant, Flik, the film's protagonist who is an odd, inventive ant that is desperate to make a difference to his colony's way of life. He is also sweet to Princess Atta and has a crush on her, but has a tendency of making things worse for himself. In this lot is a great selection of six drawings from Disney Consumer Products. The artwork was used for a Disney children's book based A Bugs Life, the 1998 feature film from Pixar Animation Studios. The drawings were rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12" x 17" paper.
