Description
Sheldon Mayer Sugar and Spike Unpublished Daily Comic Strip Original Art - 6th Week (DC, 1982). In the early 1980s, DC Comics tried unsuccessfully to launch Sheldon Mayer's Sugar and Spike as a newspaper strip. Several sample strips were drawn up. This one was intended for the "6th Week" of launch. Mayer signed it in the last panel. It is titled "The Question". Ink over graphite with an image size of 15" x 4" on illustration paper.
