Description
Mickey Plays Papa Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1934). An outstanding original animation drawing of Mickey reading a scary book to Pluto titled "The Cry in the Night." This is from the opening scene in this Bert Gillett-directed short, before the orphan is dropped off at Mickey's doorstep. Notice the animation trick of putting the title on the back cover of the book, so the audience can see what he's reading. Great large graphite and blue pencil image of 6", with the number 78 written in the bottom right corner. This was one of the original Mickey Mouse cartoons featuring Walt Disney himself providing the voice of Mickey. Mild age-related paper toning with reinforced pegholes.
