Richard A. Williams Lifeguards Only Beyond This Point Paperback Novel Cover Painting Original Art (Penguin, 1984). Master artist Richard Williams, is known for his satirical and ironically biting impressions of Norman Rockwell as an acclaimed MAD artist. He produced this cover for the Young Reader book, by Michael French. Created in acrylic over graphite on illustration board with an image area of 15" x 23". There is some edge wear to the top and bottom edges, on the bottom edge there is a dent that has cracked the board but does not affect the art.
