Killers #1 (Magazine Enterprises, 1947) CGC VF- 7.5 Off-white to white pages. When you publish a comic with three killers as heroes, you leave yourself open to criticism, and this book got it from all sides, scoring a mention in Seduction of the Innocent and being used in hearings by the New York Legislative Commission. The book has the added asset of a cover by one of the best cover artists in the biz, L. B. Cole. This is the highest grade that CGC has assigned for this issue to date. Overstreet 2004 VF 8.0 value = $669.
